Most people experience a breakup at one time or another. It's just how life works. Most people will say that it's one of the most painful things one can experience. True. You have to learn how to react, how to slowly reconnect with your lost love. You'll need a plan, a strategy. Don't let your emotions take over you, don't improvise, don't beg, don't be desperate. These are sensitive times, strong emotions are involved, and things can quickly get out of hands. Don't make it worse than it is.
